A Learning Collaborative is an alternative approach to connected and collaborative learning that joins learners of all ages across the globe.
A 'Learning Collaborative' redesigns the learning paradigm to encourage STUDENTS to take the lead in connecting and collaborating and in doing so co-create new knowledge and solutions to global problems. The focus is on ‘doing’ and ‘creating’ in global teams. Students are invited to join the collaborative as independent learners or with their teacher in a class. Teachers are invited to join as 'learning concierges' to support knowledge construction in a non-hierarchical approach to learning globally.
We are educators and learners that want to make positive change possible in the world through global collaboration and action. By using digital technologies, the impossible becomes possible, intercultural awareness is developed and learning legacies are created.
